Deb Harrington
Over the course of her professional career and life experiences, Deb Harrington MEd, founder and Executive Director of A Place To Breathe, identified a vacuum of services for the family caregiver. Witnessing and experiencing the emotional, spiritual and physical demands of being a family caregiver and the toll it can take, she worked to create a solution. With the birth of APTB in 2020, Deb created a non-profit organization to provide support, education and tools of self maintenance for those caring for a loved one with life challenges. Volunteering as Peer Leader for APTB’s Community Alliance Partner: Courage to Caregivers and SheRecovers trauma informed coach hosting virtual Gatherings gives Deb the unique opportunity to witness the struggles, supports and resilience community provides.
