A Place to Breathe invites you to attend a webinar to share strategies for coping with the upcoming holiday season.
The session will be led by Kathleen Welcome. Kathleen has a holistic healing practice here on Cape Cod and is a grief support facilitator. In addition to her certification from the Center for Loss and Life Transition she draws upon her many years of hospice and care giver support work as well as her experience as an Interfaith minister and Brennan Healing Science Practitioner. All are welcome.

Elaine is a certified yoga and mindfulness teacher, with a Master's Degree and several certifications in mindfulness and over forty years of experience teaching and practicing yoga. Certified in many different styles of yoga, currently teaching more of a therapeutic style.

Compassion Fatigue/Empathic Distress
The past two years have been difficult for us all. Compassion Fatigue/Empathic Distress, burnout, secondary trauma and PTSD, are all by-products of bearing witness to the suffering of the people around us. Empathy without the proper self – care can take its toll on the caregiver. This seven – week offering for both the professional and lay person who may have feelings of grief, overwhelm or just needing some self – care. Using Mindfulness based techniques and meditations we will explore ways of self – care to ease and comfort the body, mind and heart.
